Expose your management team (and whole agency) to our highly-acclaimed "Shark" presentation where we explain how agency growth often destroys productivity, morale and profits. Often we combine this with our Flow, Noise, Transparency workshop, for a whole day of agency-wide insights and learning. (2 hours)
In this 4-8 hour workshop, we'll cover a wide range of topics that inform your managerial or leadership team regarding the impact of managerial styles upon agency productivity. If you're a reader of our articles, you'll recognize several familiar topics, such as Theory X versus Y, verbal dominance, and authority versus control. Specific exercises include situational learning and communication styles (8 hour version).
This 4-hour workshop will transform how you think about your agency, and its sources of productivity. This module is at the core of our Level II trainings, but works very well as a standalone session for groups up to 75 people. Key concepts include interruptive noise, behavioral models and the real core of worker empowerment. Requires a vertical slice of your agency (top to bottom, or the whole thing) in order to be effective.
This 1-2 day workshop will help you identify how your organization would be impacted and improved by adopting team-empowering methods like ours. In the 1-day version we cover Flow, Noise Transparency and Managerial Styles, along with some open time for planning your curriculum. In the 2-day version, we add our Account Diagnostic (Agency Theory) Workshop and also additional trainings and discussions as needed to fill out the two days.
This half-day session focuses on the inner mind of the client and how the really think about agencies. The workshop is an actionable-learning session where your account and management teams diagnose your account challenges to determine improvement areas.
One of our newest modules, this half-to-whole day workshop teaches why meetings don't work well (in agencies and often elsewhere) and gives participants hands-on experience crafting a more effective meeting design. We highly recommend the whole-day version, as it includes us mentoring several of your meetings so that you learn the process well.
Depending upon your content needs, location and number of people involved, the sessions generally cost $3-5k per day, more for groups over 50.
Any size, really. We’ve trained small (less than 12 persons) agencies to large, multi-national shops. For medium to large agencies, the key consideration is how to roll out the program. We work with you to figure that out before we start.
Too small to be awesome? Nope. Small agencies actually have a big advantage in terms of adopting and adapting our methods. We’ve seen small shops dramatically increase their velocity after only 2 workshops with us.
It sure does. Planning, creative, copy, broadcast, and media types all love the opportunities our training provides. We teach them all how to work smarter together; and our workshops drive ground-up collaboration, for much better, more integrated work.
Yes we do. But the introductory workshops are generally only available when we’re going to be in your country already. We travel frequently to the EU, and ANZ.
These are the workers. The people that you have on staff that actually create all of the stuff you dream up. We believe that they are the barometer of your agency…if they are not working in an optimal way, neither is your agency.
Yes! But we’ll need to discuss it to make sure your selections make sense from a teaching and experience perspective.

You’ll need about 3 weeks to get your team, your client and the rest of the agency scheduled for a workshop. Right now our booking window varies but is about 4-6 weeks in advance. In general: next week, yes, we are already busy.
When are you ready to start? We travel specifically for each client. The only exception is international (ex-US) where we generally try to get multiple agencies to sign up in order to share airfare costs.
No, all travel costs are extra, on top of the workshop fee.
We like big rooms with lots of wall space. We’ll send you guidelines in advance.
We go analog on you — lots of index cards, sharpies, and blue painters tape.

You’ll also need the three (3) Post-it® Super Sticky 30″ x 25″ Self Stick Easel Pad (30 sheets/pad). They are not included in the basic supply kit.
Again, we’ll send you guidelines and a supply list in advance. And don’t forget the beverages and snacks. Lots of snacks.
